VK Naresh has spoken against Naga Babu's criticism that the MAA has lost its grace in recent years. At a presser today, Naresh described himself as a man of action. He said that his tenure has seen major welfare measures and that his team of office-bearers has worked really hard to bring drastic changes.

Naresh, looking somewhat emotional, gave a list of MAA's achievements under his tenure.

Out of 914 lifetime members of the Association, as many as 728 members have been given the benefit of life insurance.

As many as 16 members of MAA have died in recent years. The death of the likes of Jayaprakash Reddy, TNR and others left their families shocked. The families of the deceased were given Rs 50 lakh in total within 48 hours of the passing away of the members.

As many as 314 members have come to avail of health insurance benefits.

A monthly pension of Rs 6,000 has been given to old members.

Since the start of the pandemic, MAA has pooled Rs 30 lakh in terms of donations from various sources to help out the needy members.

In his address to the media, Naresh expressed confidence that the well-meaning work of the office-bearers will be appreciated. The 'Sammohanam' and 'Rangasthalam' actor said that he has got the blessings of the likes of Chiranjeevi, Superstar Krishna and Krishnam Raju.
