Ram Gopal Varma has a plan to redeem himself. He has made official a grand project titled Syndicate, whose cast and crew details are yet to be made official.
Syndicate, the English-language term, is often used in criminal contexts. And RGV's film will be about the most terrifying of such syndicates in India. "There has been no notable criminal organisation since the last 10 to 15 years in India, but right now the intense polarisation between various groups in the country makes the timing ripe for a new kind of criminal organisation to rise. Unlike the organisations of the past, this new organisation joins forces from various groups including POLICING AGENCIES, POLITICOS, ULTRA RICH BUSINESS MEN and also the MILITARY thus making it a SYNDICATE," RGV wrote on social media.
Ram Gopal Varma has pinned high hopes on the project. The question is, will he be walking the talk? Many projects he has announced in the past never materialized. The fate of Syndicate could go either here or there.
