'Indra' writer Chinni Krishna was a vocal critic of Megastar Chiranjeevi and Pawan Kalyan for several years. Today, he issued an open apology to the 'Bholaa Shankar' actor.

"In the past, I badmouthed Chiranjeevi garu under the influence of some individuals. He is a great man who is large-hearted. He forgot everything and spoke with me today so affectionately," Chinni Krishna said. The writer met the actor at the latter's residence in Hyderabad to congratulate him on being honoured with the Padma Vibhushan.

In 2018, ahead of the Assembly elections in Andhra Pradesh, Chinni Krishna criticized Chiru and Pawan Kalyan. "As a Kapu, I am saying that Chiranjeevi is an ungrateful man. I wrote 'Indra', the blockbuster. Yet, he never invited me to lunch. Why do you want to believe a person like him? Vote for Jagan Mohan Reddy," Chinni Krishna said at that time.

Chinni Krishna was politically motivated in the past. It seems his political alignments have changed today or he has become neutral/apolitical. He would have been another Posani Krishna Murali otherwise.
