'Lal Salaam' will feature Superstar Rajinikanth in an extended cameo. He will be seen as a Mumbai-based don named Moideen Bhai. The film, directed by Aishwarya Rajinikanth, commenced its shoot on March 7. It stars Vishnu Vishal and Vikranth in lead roles.
The news is that the legendary Rajini will be sharing screen space with cricketing legend Kapil Devi in a scene. "It is my honor and privilege working with the Legendary, most respected and wonderful human being Kapil Devji, who made India proud by winning (a cricket world cup) for the first time," tweeted the 'Jailer' actor, making the announcement.
Kapil Dev, too, said that he was honoured to shoot with the 'Kabali' actor.
Lyca Productions is currently also making Shankar's 'Indian 2', 'Mission Chapter 1', and Ajith's 'Vidaamuyarchi'. All three will have pan-India releases, so also 'Laal Salaam'. The banner is also producing Rajinikanth's 170th movie, which will be directed by TJ Gnanavel of 'Jai Bhim' fame. Produced by Subaskaran, Thalaivar170 will have music composed by Anirudh Ravichander.
