'Sagileti Katha', led by Raviteja Mahadasyam and Vishika Laxman (they will be seen as naive/naughty lovers), will be gracing the theatres on October 6. The film has been given the UA certificate by the CBFC.
"We are happy to announce the release date. The story is set in a village in the Rayalaseema village region," said writer-editor-cinematographer-director Rajasekhar Sudmoon. While the hero is a relatively fresh face, the heroine was recently seen in films like 'Ashtadigbandhanam'.
Presented by actor Navdeep's C-Space, the film is jointly produced by Deviprasad Balivada and Ashok Mittapally. "This is a delicious film of the year," the makers said. Chicken is a recurring plot device in the movie.
Also starring Narasimha Prasad Pantagani, the rural drama is co-written by Shashikant Billapati and Mani Prasad Arakula. With music by Jaswanth Pasupuleti, its background music is by Sanal Vasudev (he has previously worked on two web series). Hemant G and Aishwarya Kulkarni are its art directors. The costumes have been done by Harshanjali Senikeshi.
