'Jersey', whose Hindi remake has Shahid Kapoor stepping into Nani's shoes, has locked its release date. The movie will release in theatres on November 5 for Sankranthi.
Directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri, the Telugu filmmaker, the film is said to be a faithful remake of the Telugu original. "The triumph of the human spirit. A journey I am so very proud of. This one is for the TEAM (sic)," the male lead today tweeted, making the release date announcement.
Mrunal Thakur and Pankaj Kapur are essaying pivotal roles. Presented by Allu Aravind on Geetha Arts, this one is produced by Aman Gill, Dil Raju of Sri Venkateswara Creations and Suryadevara Naga Vamsi of Sithara Entertainments.
