Mani Ratnam is shooting for his romantic drama staring Karthi and
Aditi Rao Hydari. The Tamil version of this film has been titled Kaatru Veliyidai. Karthi had undergone pilot training for his role in this film.
Aditi is not well versed in spoken Tamil and she is polishing this language. Aditi is helped by none other than Mani Ratnam himself. The director is helping Aditi in dialogue delivery and perfecting Tamil. Sources close to the unit say that Aditi has been learning Tamil under his guidance from the past one month.
A R Rahman will be scoring music for this film. Mani Ratnam is producing this movie on his home banner Madras Talkies. The film will be simultaneously made in Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam. Currently the shooting is progressing in Ooty.
