'Geeta Sakshigaa', starring Aadarsh and Chitra Shukla, is scheduled to be released in theatres on March 22 in Telugu and Hindi. On Tuesday, its trailer was released.
In the film, a male youth is accused of murdering a female hostel resident. Chitra Shukla and Srikanth Iyengar present arguments in favor of and against him, respectively, in court. The film tackles the sensitive issue of rape and violence against women, and features slogans and messages that are central to its themes.
Raja Ravindra's character is also significant in the film, after the main characters of Aadarsh and the two lawyers. The movie incorporates political themes, as well as discussions about women's empowerment, among other elements.
Roopesh Shetty, Bharani Shankar, Jayalalitha, Anitha Chowdary, and Nellore Sudharshan are part of the cast. Prudhvi (action), the Yeswanth-Anish duo (dance choreography), Rehaman (lyrics), and Kishore Maddali (editing) have worked on the movie. The film is directed by Anthony Mattipalli.
