'Ram Asur', the action-thriller, was released in theatres last month. The news is that director Venkatesh Triparna is busy winning accolades for his craft.
In a recent interview, the young filmmaker said that he is a die-hard fan of Megastar Chiranjeevi. After learning directorial techniques from star director Maruthi, Venkatesh decided to make a debut. 'Ram Asur', his first outing, has attained a hit status. "The treatment is impeccable," a critic opined.
While the audience had expected that the movie is only an actioner, they were surprised to find many more elements in it: Romance, drama, twists, and more importantly, science-fiction elements.
Starring Abhinav Sardar and Chandini Tamilarasan, the film boasts of fine performances. Ram Karthik and Sherry Agarwal have also garnered attention.
With cinematography by Prabhakar Reddy and music by Bheems, the film is a sleeper hit.
