'Ram Asur' is a science-fiction drama starring Abhinav Sardhar and Ram Karthik in lead roles. Helmed by Venkatesh Triparna, the film is produced by ASP Media House and GV Ideas. Also featuring Chandini Tamilarasan and Sherry Agarwal, the entertainer has Shaani Salmon in a key role. Yesteryear star hero Suman and 'Jathi Ratnalu', 'Nayam' actor Subhaleka Sudhakar have important parts. The news is that the film's pre-release event was held on Saturday at a star hotel in Hyderabad ahead of its release on November 19.
Director Maruthi graced the event as the chief guest. Speaking on the occasion, he said, "Director Venkatesh worked in our banner on 'Ee Rojullo'. Back in those days, I discovered that he has got great potential. The trailer for 'Ram Asur' is very promising. I am sure the concept of the movie is refreshing. The audience are the ultimate judges."
Director Harinath said that the producers of the movie have got rich taste. "They have picked a unique concept because they don't want to do routine movies. Director Venkatesh is a fan of Chiranjeevi. We too admire him a lot. I am confident that 'Ram Asur' will draw the audience to theatres," he added.
Producer Bekkem Venugopal said, "Abhinav Sardhar has been a good friend. He kept updating me about the progress of this movie from time to time. I appreciate the producers for not releasing 'Ram Asur' on OTT. It's a theatrical release." The producer also lauded the technicians, especially the cinematographer.
Director and producer Venkatesh Triparna said, "I come from a middle-class family. It's because of my parents that I am here today. I am a die-hard fan of Megastar Chiranjeevi garu. Those who were born in the 1980s and 1990s know well how big an influence his movies were on us. I am here today taking huge inspiration from him. I am also a huge admirer of director Maruthi garu. He has made it to this stage with sheer effort and determination. Coming to this film, music director Bheems Ceciroleo and cinematographer J Prabhakara Reddy have been of immense support for me. There is a twist every 15 minutes in the movie. We haven't revealed anything in the trailer."
Actor and producer Abhinav Sardhar said that he too hails from a middle-class background. "I have always been supported by my parents and siblings. Coming to 'Ram Asur', it's a subject that has never been touched by any film in any industry so far. Since the concept of the movie is new, the budget went up. I reached my friends and they gave timely help," he added.
Producer Raj Kandukuri said, "Abhinav is a good friend. He has always been successful in everything. I wish the team all the best."
