Ram Charan’s ‘Zanjeer’ is in big trouble due to Sanjay Dutt. Yes, the actor who’s playing Sher Khan in the film has been sentenced to five years in jail by the Supreme Court for possession of illegal weapons. The court ordered Sunjay Dutt to surrender to police within 4 weeks on the change of possessing 3 automatic rifles and a pistol that were supplied to him by men involved in the case linked to 1993 bombing that killed 257 people in Mumbai. He insists that he knew nothing about 1993 bomb plot but acquired weapons to protect his family because of external threats. Dutt has already served 18 months in prison before he was released on bail in November 2007 pending an appeal in the top court.
Now, Charan’s Bollywood maiden film is in real trouble and it’s remained to be seen how the producers are going to tackle this problem.
