Well, the movie directed by Gauri Shinde, wife of director R Balki dwells on certain language related phenomenon. Sources, claim that the movie is based on a popular TV serial in Hindi ‘Zabaan Sambhalke’ which comically portrays different accents and the knowledge of language of people. Sridevi in this movie ‘English Vinglish’ will be an Indian housewife with very poor English. The circumstances lead her to go to America and the way she succeeds in convincing everybody with good English is something expected to be very interesting going by Sridevi’s past ability of comical action.
