R Balki (producer of ‘English Vinglish) has confirmed that his upcoming project will hit floors in first half of 2014 and release by the end of the year. The speculations about Kamal Haasan’s second daughter Akshara Haasan pairing up with Dhanush was also clarified by the filmmaker. He said that his untitled film will feature the exceptionally talented Dhanush with Kamal’s second daughter Akshara along with the living legend Amitabh Bachchan, who’s going to essay an equally important role. Amitabh Bachchan also mentioned to his followers in his twitter account: “R Balki me on again for the next film, a unique story as is the norm with him,and working with Dhanush and Akshara Kamal's daughter.”
Maestro Ilayaraja has been roped in to score the music. Story, screenplay and direction will be handled by Balki. This movie will be the third consecutive one with Amitabh Bachchan after the critical acclaimed movies ‘Cheeni Kum’ and ‘Paa’. Big B also gave guest appearance in Sridevi starer ‘English Vinglish’, produced by Balki.
On the other hand, Dhanush is very excited about this project too, as he is getting opportunity to work with a legend like Amitabh Bachchan. This is his second Bollywood film after the super duper hit film ‘Raanjhanaa’. Dhanush tweeted: "Yes guys,my next Hindi film is with Balki sir. According to Dhanush, Ilayaraja’s music is his lullaby, his food, his youth, his first love, his first kiss, first love failure, his success and last but not the least Ilayaraja is in his blood.
