Dhanush was born in Theni, Tamil Nadu, India, on 28th July 1983. He is an Indian film actor, filmmaker, screenwriter, lyricist, playback singer & composer who is known most for his role in the films Tamil and Hindi, Malayalam and Telugu.

The agent Kasthuri Raja & Vijayalakshmi was born to Dhanush. He has a brother named Selvaraghavan and two sisters named K. Geetha Vimala & Devi Karthika.
He got married to Aishwarya R Dhanush, super-star Rajnikanth 's daughter, and they have two sons together called Yatra Raja & Linga Raja.
Career:
Before his acting career, Dhanush is known as Venkatesh Prabhu and is a successful Indian actor, director, author, writer, and playback singer. He has been best known for his role in the Tamil film industry.
With a film background, he was pushed by his family acting and made his debut with his father's directorial (Kasthuri Raja) ThulluvadhoIlamai, and then in KadhalKondein, his first brother's (Selvaraghavan) film.

These achievements have not stopped here as he continued making more films, and his work with director Mithran Jawahar has proved successful, Aadukalam, which was launched in 2011 and won the National Film Award for Best Actor.
