Director Mahesh Chandra is currently helming a family entertainer titled Pithapuramlo. Coming with the tagline, 'Ala Modalaindi', the film is touted to be a rooted love story that blends emotions meant to please the family audience. The versatile Rajendra Prasad is assuming a leading role alongside famous artists like Prudhviraj.
The title poster for Pithapuramlo was today released at the hands of Telangana Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka, who did the favour because he liked the concept of the movie. Describing the upcoming release as driven by a meaningful purpose and message, he added that today's youth segment needs to watch such movies. "This film is about how to make decisions and grow while respecting family values," the dignitary said, urging everyone to support the well-meaning cinematic outing.
Dr. Rajendra Prasad thanked the Deputy CM and appreciated director Mahesh Chandra for narrating a "very relevant point about what is happening in contemporary society". The seasoned actor mentioned Aa Naluguru, Mee Sreyobhilashi, and Onamalu in the context of Pithapuramlo relaying a pertinent point. Currently, the movie is in the final stage of shoot.
"This is a story that is very close to my heart. While it seems like the story of three fathers, it also revolves around three couples," the director said. The film is centered on the stories of three families. "In today's internet age, this film will be an eye-opener for young people who may not be showing respect to their parents," Prudhviraj added.
Kedar Shankar, Mani Chandana, Jayavahini, Annapurnamma, Dasari Padma, Sunny Akhil, Virat, Sai Praneeth, Srilu, Pratyusha, Rehana, Jr. Pawan Kalyan, JDV Prasad, 'KA Paul' Ramu, and Jabardasth Seshu are part of the cast.
