Natural Star Nani and his director, Srikanth Odela, have started making tall claims about the potential of The Paradise. The yet-to-be-shot film, as per them, deserves a global audience.
Speaking to Variety, Nani has described his movie as India’s Mad Max, whose tone and nature will be wild and poetic. Set in a fictional recreation of the Secunderabad area that gives the film its title, the film will head to theatres on March 26, 2026.
Nani's and Odela's statements are certainly audacious. Odela, with only one film to his credit, is staking his entire reputation on his second film by believing The Paradise deserves a global audience. If he lives up to even half the hype, he will advance to the next level. However, if The Paradise fails, Odela will find it difficult to regain his morale. As for Nani, he must be expecting The Paradise to establish his pan-Indian image. This is his biggest bet yet.
