Thalapathy's 69th outing is titled Jana Nayagan. The film's First Roar was released last night with a bang. The video also confirmed that the film will hit the marquee on January 9th, 2026.
The teaser garnered massive traction, surpassing 1 million YouTube views in just 15 minutes and nearly 7 lakh views in 30 minutes. The caption, “A true leader rises not for power, but for people”, has particularly contributed to its popularity. Anirudh Ravichander's image and the chaos-torn backdrop of the action scene in the teaser are cool! Fans have feted the video with incredible words like mass madness, rampage and more.
Vijay, for all we know, is playing a commanding police officer with a sword in his hand. Bollywood actor Bobby Deol, Pooja Hegde, and Mamitha Baiju of 'Premalu' fame, among others, are playing prominent parts. Produced by KVN Productions and PHARS Film, Jana Nayagan also features actor-director Gautham Vasudev Menon, Priyamani, and Prakash Raj. The cinematography is by Sathyan Sooryan, editing is by Pradeep E Ragav, action choreography is by Anl Arasu, and art direction is by Selva Kumar. Sekhar Master and Sudhan will be choreographing Vijay's dance moves. Budding VFX Supervisor Monesh H is onboard.
