It is known that Mythri Movie Makers was recently included as Accused No. 18 in the Sandhya Theatre stampede case. Producers Y Ravi Shankar and Naveen Yerneni have, on Thursday, been given relief by the Telangana High Court days after they filed a petition to dismiss the case against them.
Their lawyer argued that his two clients can't be arrested because they had done their due by informing the police about Allu Arjun's planned visit to the theatre. The lawyer argued that the producers can't be blamed for an incident that occurred despite safety measures and the deployment of policemen. Ravi Shankar and Naveen can be questioned but they can't be taken into custody, the HC stated.
'Pushpa 2: The Rule' has been a blockbuster in Hindi. Its distributors reportedly incurred losses in Andhra region, though. The film has fetched its Ceded distributor profits.
