An industry insider has claimed that iBomma Ravi had access to the entire footage of Pushpa 2: The Rule a full one week before the movie's theatrical release. "He didn't release it because he is a good thief. Imagine what would have been the situation of producers, distributors and financiers had Pushpa 2 been put out on piracy sites one week before its release," he said. Directed by Sukumar, the sequel was headlined by Allu Arjun.
As per the insider, the leaks happen because the security systems at QUBE and UFO are lax. Qube and UFO are two prominent Indian digital cinema distribution and in-cinema advertising companies. In the past, too, producers have hinted at their systems being vulnerable.
iBomma Ravi had access to Game Changer and HIT 3 and put them out on the day of their release.
