Pagili from Mazaka leaves the viewer underwhelmed. Shot on Sundeep Kishan and Ritu Varma, the mass song has a noticeable lack of vitality in the dance routines.
The song, which was expected to be a hit with its mass appeal beats, failed to ignite the dance floor. It was conceived to be a blockbuster dance number but even the Daler Mehendi-type singing doesn't help. The beats, which were supposed to energize the audience, instead felt repetitive and uninspired. The lack of chemistry between the lead pair is palpable. Composed by Leon James, who recently worked on Vishwak Sen's Laila, the song is rendered by Mahalingam, Sahithi Chaganti, and Prabha.
Mazaka is directed by Trinadha Rao Nakkina and produced by Hasya Movies. Written by Prasanna Kumar Bezawada, the entertainer also features Rao Ramesh, Anshu, Murali Sharma, Srinivas Reddy, Hyper Aadi, Raghu Babu, Ajay, and Chammak Chandra. Mazaka's box office potential appears bleak.
