Jaabilamma Neeku Antha Kopama is all set to be released on February 21. Asian Suresh Entertainment is releasing it in the Telugu States.
Speaking at the film's presser today, presenter Janhvi Narang thanked the team for being in Hyderabad to promote the rom-com. She assured a decent theatrical release. She also thanked director Dhanush (actor) for giving them the opportunity to release the movie in Telugu. "I am excited to watch the movie myself. The trailer is enough to make you want to book your tickets! This could have been released for Valentine's Day but we don't want to bracket this movie into a Valentine movie. This film doesn't fit into any stereotype," Narang said. She suggested that the film will be on the top of the audience's priority watch list given its "unique flavour".
Actor Pavish said, "I must thank Venky Atluri sir; it was in his movie SIR that I got the opportunity to stand in front of the camera. Our movie Jaabilamma Neeku Antha Kopama is coming out on February 21. I am grateful to have got to work under Dhanush sir's direction. I got to learn the virtue of patience from him. Whatever we do, do it with patience. He advised me to watch some specific movies (like Raghuvaran B.Tech) to be able to get my basics right."
Anikha Surendran, who is playing a lead role, urged the audience to watch the movie in theatres. "My character is that of a soft-spoken, simple girl. Even though the number of actors is high, everyone has their own space. As such, there was no competition between us," Anikha added.
Rabiya Khatoon said, "This is my debut movie. It was an amazing experience shooting for the movie." The newcomer expects the Telugu audience to shower their love on the movie. Actor Venkatesh Menon, who has played an important role, said, "Please watch our movie in theatres. Please support us." Ramya Ranganathan said, "I am a debutante. This is a neat love story that must be watched with your family and friends."
The actors who were present reenacted the hook step from their song, Golden Sparrow. Before the shoot began, director Dhanush made the actors participate in acting workshops. Since the cast is on the higher side in terms of quantity, the coordination aspect had to be managed well and the director was adept at it.
