In the Kingdom poster released the other day along with the movie's Teaser, Vijay Deverakonda sports a shirtless look. While he showcases a muscular and well-defined physique, the significant amount of chest hair on his body has come in for appreciation from Netizens who like male stars to look real.
Vijay's battle-hardened appearance in the poster and in the film's teaser have managed to establish his character pretty well. Kingdom, directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri, will head to theatres on May 30th.
With Liger, Vijay did venture into the raw looks territory. Since the script was weak, his efforts and conviction didn't pay off. In contrast, Kingdom seems to be giving him what Liger didn't.
Kingdom, whose music is by Anirudh Ravichander, is a drama-heavy and action-driven film to be released in two parts. The first part will be a sufficient story in itself. The film is produced by Sithara Entertainments and Fortune 4 Cinemas.
