Usually, release dates are announced with a lag in Tollywood. 'Laila' is different. The film, starring Vishwak Sen in a role with dual shades (a man and a woman), will head to theatres on February 14, 2025.
The film's release date was made official today while starting the shoot.
With Sen, the makers have to be careful. If the release date deadline is not honoured, he will get upset and make his disappointment public. Last time, when 'Gangs Of Godavari' was postponed from December 2023, he was so angry that he publicly stated that he wouldn't be promoting the movie. The over-hyped action drama eventually flopped upon its release in theatres on May 31.
In his next movie, 'Mechanic Rocky', Sen will be seen in an urbane role. The film will be released later this year.
Earlier this year, he was also seen in 'Gaami', a survival thriller drama that was in the making for six years.
