'Hanu-Man': Big stars consciously avoid supporting it!

Director Prasanth Varma, in an interview hosted by Adivi Sesh, has revealed that the teaser and trailer launch events of 'Hanu-Man' had no guests gracing it. He hinted that he did approach a few star heroes but none of them extended their support. "I ask only once. I don't want to obligate them into doing something," Varma said. Sesh said that his film 'Major' (2022), which was released in Hindi as well, received support from Salman Khan (even though Sesh comes with no film family background).

'Hanu-Man' has not received support from any of Tollywood's big stars for the obvious reason that it will be locking horns with four big Sankranthi titles featuring Mahesh Babu, Venkatesh, Ravi Teja and Nagarjuna. Recently, in another interview, Prasanth Varma said that a mystery man has been trying to stall the release of 'Hanu-Man' for Sankranthi.

In this regard, it must be noted that Varma is grateful that Ravi Teja has lent his voice to a monkey's character in 'Hanu-Man'.

The superhero fantasy actioner will come out in five Indian languages (Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada) and five foreign languages (English, Spanish, Korean, Chinese, and Japanese). The film is scheduled to be released in theatres on January 12.
