'Leo' flashback: Fake or semi-fake?

There has been this theory that the flashback in 'Leo' is fake. In other words, the incidents narrated in the flashback didn't actually take place in Leo's life. They are merely the 'incidents' that Mansoor Ali Khan's character narrates to Gautham Menon's character. The truth could be wide off the mark.

In his latest interview, director Lokesh Kanagaraj has validated the theory by saying that the flashback is from the perspective of Mansoor's character. With this, Netizens infer that 'Leo 2' can be expected. "Since it is evident that the actual flashback hasn't been narrated to the audience, we can expect 'Leo 2' or Leo's backstory will be revealed truthfully in some other Lokesh Cinematic Universe movie," a Netizen wrote.

Many movie buffs are actually angry with Kanagaraj for resorting to gimmicks. "You watch a lengthy movie and a boring flashback. At the end of it all, you don't know what Leo's past was all about, and whether his father and uncle were really evil the way they have been shown to be. This is getting tedious. The audience hate to be cheated usually. But since this is a Kanagaraj-Vijay movie, they might forgive the makers," another Netizen wrote.

The flashback in 'Leo' could be fake from start to end. In all probability, it could be semi-fake since Mansoor's character wouldn't be totally clueless or dishonest.
