Nandamuri Balakrishna's 'Akhanda', which was released in theatres on December 2 last year, will celebrate its blockbuster run in Kurnool on March 12. Named Kruthagnatha Sabha, the event will see in attendance the core team of the movie.

Producer Miryala Ravinder Reddy of Dwaraka Creations said that 'Akhanda' has fetched the stakeholders massive profits despite stiff challenges in the form of low ticket prices in Andhra Pradesh and the third wave of the pandemic.

With music by Thaman, the film also features Pragya Jaiswal and others. It has been streaming on Disney+Hotstar.

What is the film about?

Murali Krishna (Nandamuri Balakrishna) is a widely respected farmer-cum-reformer in Anantapur, Rayalaseema. Varadarajulu (Srikanth) is a ruthless mining baron working under the aegis of the presiding guru of a Peetham. When the villains endanger the lives of a whole village on the pretext of carrying out mining, Murali Krishna threatens them with dire consequences. But it is only Akhanda (Balakrishna, again) who can take on the might of the evil forces.
