More than 1.5 years since it went on the floors, 'Akhanda' has finally completed its production works. On Tuesday, Nandamuri Balakrishna and Boyapati Srinu announced the wrapping up of the shoot after a song was canned on the lead man at Annapurna Studios.
Producer Miryala Ravinder Reddy of Dwaraka Creations said that the post-production works are unfolding at a brisk pace. "Our film will roar in theatres soon," the makers added.
A release date hasn't been announced because it hasn't been decided on as yet. The makers are said to be keen on a grand Diwali release. But if the exhibition sector doesn't receive a boost in the form of hiked ticket prices and 100% occupancy in Andhra Pradesh, 'Akhanda' will not be released for Diwali.
