'Akhanda', starring Nandamuri Balakrishna and directed by Boyapati Srinu, has been having a dream run at the box office. The news is that the action entertainer has entered the one million dollar club in the US.
Making a statement on Tuesday, Radha Krishna Entertainments, the distribution company that had released the Balayya-starrer in the US, said that 'Akhanda' has trumped several records in the overseas territory. "This is the first movie in our company's history to surpass the coveted figure. 'Akhanda' is doing wonders in Australia, the UK and Gulf as well," the company said.
It goes without saying that 'Akhanda' is turning out to be the biggest grosser in Balakrishna's career, on the back of steady collections.
