It's just a few days that we have been into 2022 and Sonu Sood has resumed his big-ticket charity works. The serial philanthropist has kickstarted an initiative named Moga di Dhi (Moga Ki Beti). Moga is a place in Punjab and Beti means Girl in English.
We learn that the 'Arundhati' actor and his sister Malvika Sood Sachar (herself a philanthropist and activist) have resolved to distribute as many as 1,000 bicycles to female school-going students and social workers in Moga. Beneficiaries belonging to about 50 villages have been short-listed.
The 'Dookudu' and 'Acharya' actor said that he wants to make it easy for girl students to attend classes in the extreme cold. Deserving children from Class 8th to 12th will get bicycles.
Sood Charity Foundation is working closely with teachers and social workers to get it done.
