Director Harish Shankar has indirectly dispelled the gossip that he will be uniting with actor Vijay Deverakonda. Going by his words, he hasn't firmed up any project with the Kingdom star.
In a social media post on Sunday, the Mr. Bachchan maker wrote, "The various news items about my next project are purely speculative. I will personally share the details at the right time through an official announcement." He added that he was "completely immersed" in Ustaad Bhagat Singh.
Ustaad Bhagat Singh, starring Pawan Kalyan in the lead, will be a 2026 release. It is produced by Mythri Movie Makers' Naveen Yerneni and Y Ravi Shankar. Devi Sri Prasad is its music director. Raashi Khanna recently joined Sreeleela as the film's female lead.
Vijay Deverakonda is occupied with two films - directed by Rahul Sankrityan and Ravi Kiran Kola. Both are scheduled to head to theatres in 2026.
