The nightingale of India Lata Mangeshkar is battling viral chest congestion. Her condition is stable now, but she still remains in the ICU according to family sources.
The singer was admitted to Breach Candy Hospital on Monday. This was done as a precautionary measure. But some sections of the media reported that her condition was critical.
The family has said that her parameters are good. She is fighting well. Her family will give more updates about her health.
Lata Mangeshkar is 90 years old and a recipient of Dadasaheb Palke Award. She has also being honoured with the France's highest civilian award, Officer of the Legion of Honour.
