Legendary actor Pran, will be receiving the prestigious Dadasaheb Phalke Award at 93. The award was announced to the actor on Friday. Pran Kishan Sikand started his film journey in 1940 as hero and did positive roles along with negative till 1947. The veteran actor ruled the roost as villain in Hindi cinema for five decades (1940s-80s), continued in 1990s too and acted in over 350 films. He included several awards to his credit including four filmfare awards and ‘Villain of Millennium’ by Stardust in 2000. But finally, at 93, this most versatile actor is receiving the much deserved award ‘Dada Saheb Phalke’, which is considered as one of the most prestigious Indian awards.
