"I have done many genres so far, but I have never done a suspense thriller like 12A Railway Colony. I felt it would be good to try this genre for the first time. It is a story with many layers," said Allari Naresh, speaking at the film's Trailer launch event. While he has acted in a courtroom drama like Naandhi, a neo-noir action thriller like Ugram, a tragedy drama like Bachchala Malli, and a romantic comedy like Aa Okkati Adakku, 12A Railway Colony is a first-of-its-kind genre for him.
Speaking further about the movie, Naresh said that the way the story unfolds and concludes are exciting. "This is a very racy and exciting film," the actor said, vouching for the writing talent of screenwriter and showrunner Dr. Anil Vishwanath of Polimera fame.
Dr Kamakshi Bhaskarla, Sai Kumar, Jeevan Kumar, in that order, have the next most consequential roles in the movie.
