The Kalavedika NTR Film Awards 2024 were presented in a grand ceremony held under the aegis of the Telangana Department of Language and Culture. Organized by Kalavedika, to mark the Jayanthi of Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao, the event was guided by veteran producer RV Ramanamurthy. Cinematographer and NTR's son Nandamuri Mohan Krishna was the chief guest.
The NTR Desh Rakshak Awards were instituted to honor the courage and patriotism of the military. This year’s NTR Lifetime Achievement Awards were presented to NR Anuradha and Chadalavada Srinivasa Rao. A special edition titled Nata Sarvabhoumudu was also released. Speaking on the occasion, T Prasanna Kumar lauded NTR's commitment to Telugu cinema's progress. Lifetime Achievement awardee Chadalavada Srinivasa Rao highlighted NTR’s pivotal role in giving Telugu people global recognition. Actor Madala Ravi described NTR as the only actor who transformed his public love into political power.
