Sithara Entertainments today announced the launch of Suriya's 46th movie, an exciting Telugu-Tamil bilingual film that will see the dynamic Suriya collaborate with director Venky Atluri. The project is slated to begin filming later this month and aims for a Summer 2026 theatrical release.
The female lead will be played by the talented Mamitha Baiju, who recently soared to widespread recognition for her captivating performance in the Malayalam blockbuster Premalu. Baiju began her film journey with notable roles in Malayalam films such as Sarvopari Palakkaran, Krishnam Parayunna Kadhakal, and Operation Java.
The film also features the Bollywood actress Raveena Tandon, who rose to prominence in the 1990s with numerous commercially successful films like Mohra, Dilwale, and Andaz Apna Apna. Bangaru Bullodu and Akasa Veedhilo are among her Telugu movies. Actress Radhika Sarathkumar, recently seen in movies like Love Today, is also part of the cast.
The musical score for Suriya46 will be composed by the acclaimed GV Prakash Kumar, whose most recent outings include Good Bad Ugly, Robinhood and Kingston. The technical crew boasts expertise with Nimish Ravi handling the cinematography, Navin Nooli taking on editing duties, and Banglan overseeing the production design.
