"The GODS gave him STRENGTH. War gave him a PURPOSE," Mythri Movie Makers wrote on social media, sharing a special birthday poster of Vijay Deverakonda's 14th movie. A period action drama, the untitled film is directed by Rahul Sankrityan of Shyam Singha Roy fame.
The Kingdom actor is seen as a muscular man with long hair, sitting in a meditative pose with his back facing the viewer. He is sitting in an ancient-type chamber. A towering divine figure is depicted at the centre. The setting is rich with ancient architectural details, such as intricately carved pillars and a stone floor.
Bhushan Kumar of T-Series has joined hands with producers Naveen Yerneni and Y Ravi Shankar for the prestigious project.
While the genre of the movie is not know, here is what director Rahul said in January: “Set work started today with an auspicious pooja. A great tale on colonial history laid its first brick on our 76th Republic day. Am sure this film is going to be one of the most powerful films ever made on the Colonial history (unspoken) of India."
