Baahubali 2: The Conclusion is an industry hit. KGF 2 is an industry hit. Aamir Khan's Dangal is an industry hit if China collections are included in the final tally.
But Kannappa? It very much is. In the Manchu Book of World Records. "Kannappa emerges as an Industry Hit. An unstoppable saga of faith and power now ruling the silver screen! The divine has spoken — audiences have blessed it! (sic)," wrote the makers of the epic devotional drama.
The poster has shocked even those who have long given up on Manchu Vishnu. "Kannappa is the industry hit if the industry comprises just three heroes: Mohan Babu, Manoj and Vishnu," an X user joked.
Kannappa, starring Prabhas in a 25-minute role, is directed by Mukesh Kumar Singh.
