The team behind the upcoming film Thammudu recently shared insights into the movie's production and its blend of emotions. The first song from the movie was unveiled yesterday. Earlier, a trailer was released, and it has cumulatively garnered 4 million views.

Actress Laya expressed her excitement about the song Bhuu Antuu Bhuutham, stating her certainty that the hook step would be a hit with everyone. She described acting in such a fun number as a joyful experience and encouraged viewers to create their own videos of the song, tagging her on social media for a response. Laya plays Nithiin's sister in the movie.

Actor Nithiin revealed the extensive filming in a forest for nearly 70 to 80 days, adding how the entire team bonded like a family during that period. He highlighted that Thammudu is a "blend of family emotions, action, and entertainment".

Producer Dil Raju elaborated on the film's emotional core. He explained that while their banner had previously presented emotional stories like Bommarillu, focusing on a father-son bond, and Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu, which explored brotherhood, Thammudu marks their first venture into a brother-sister sentiment. He also mentioned that director Sriram Venu was still refining the film for the best output, which was why he could not attend the event. Raju teased that the second half of the film, spanning around 45 to 50 minutes, would transport viewers into an entirely new world. He confidently predicted that Thammudu, much like Sankranthiki Vasthunnam, would appeal to families, youth, masses, and kids alike, ensuring audiences leave the theatre with the feeling of having witnessed a meaningful film. Sankranthiki Vasthunam is Dil Raju's biggest hit to date.

Raju also praised Nithiin, noting that Thammudu is his third film under their banner after Dil and Srinivasa Kalyanam. He commended Nithiin's visible dedication to the project.

Thammudu, co-starring Sapthami Gowda, Saurabh Sachdeva and Varsha Bollamma, heads to theatres on July 4.
