"Presenting Feel the Divinity with Jai Bagalaamukhii song from Thammudu," the makers of Thammudu wrote, unveiling the second song from their movie. Set to tune by Ajaneesh Loknath, the devotional track carries an obvious Kantara inspiration. Rendered with a Shankar Mahadevan-like earnestness by Abby V, the song is penned by Jonnavithula Ramalingeswara Rao.
The visuals revolve around the installation of an idol of Goddess Bagalaamukhi amid the fervent prayers of the residents of a tribal village.
Thammudu stars Nithiin, Laya, and Saurabh Sachdeva as the hero, the hero's sister, and the antagonist, respectively. Sapthami Gowda and Varsha Bollamma have prominent roles. Baby Deetya, who plays Laya's daughter in the movie, is the daughter of the film's director, Venu Sriram.
Set to be released in theatres on July 4, Thammudu's story takes place over a night. Sri Venkateswara Creations has mounted the film on a big scale. As noted by producer Dil Raju himself, the film's production costs alone clocked Rs 35 Cr.
