Speaking at the trailer launch event of Kingdom on Saturday, Vijay Deverakonda broke into the Rayalaseema dialect. He shared something for the first time ever. "For the past one year, whenever I have thought about Kingdom, I have only seen the grace of Lord Venkateswara. I will reach the top. I have poured my soul into Kingdom," Vijay said.
In his speech, Vijay praised director Gowtam Tinnanuri, music director Anirudh, Editor Navin Nooli, Bhagyashri Borse and producer S Naga Vamsi. "They have all worked passionately on the project. We are just a few days away from watching Kingdom in theatres," the Liger actor said.
S Naga Vamsi said that Kingdom was in the production for 2.5 years. He added that the project's genesis was five years ago. "The Rowdy Boy you have missed over the past five years will be back in Kingdom. The Arjun Reddy-level intensity will be seen. The industry needs a Saiyaara-like blockbuster. We hope Kingdom is that movie," the producer said, adding that Tirupathi is his personal 'kingdom' and a second home. He revealed that Bhagyashri Borse was his choice. "The suggestion didn't come either from Vijay or the director," Naga Vamsi said.
Bhagyashri described Gowtam as one of the greatest directors. "He is always cool," the Mr. Bachchan actress said. "Tirupathi is special to me. It feels very positive whenever I am here. Kingdom is a product of passion. Vijay is the man of the hour. I really admire him as a person. More than that, he is very dedicated. He deserves a lot more. Anirudh has given us blockbuster songs. He has added magic to our film. Naga Vamsi garu makes everything happen so smoothly. You give 100% to each and every film that you do," she said.
