The pre-release event of Kingdom will be held on July 28th. The Yousufguda Police Grounds is the venue. All permissions have been sought.
The coolest feature of the evening will be Anirudh Ravichander's performance of a high-energy, hero-centric, emotional song. "It’s all about ENERGY, CHEERS & that full house EUPHORIA. Vijay Deverakonda and Rockstar Anirudh are going to set the stage ablaze," Sithara Entertainments announced today.
Directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri, the film stars Vijay and Satyadev as brothers. The hero's character undergoes a dramatic transformation in the middle of the second half. His first scene with his elder brother will be among the biggest highs in Kingdom. Bhagyashri Borse is the film's heroine.
"When Gowtam first pitched the idea to me, he described it as a gangster drama involving two brothers. I was hooked," Vijay said, suggesting that the storyline was evolved later into something big. The rumour is that there is a reincarnation element in Kingdom.
July 31 is when Kingdom will hit the cinemas.
