Surya S/o Krishnan, starring actor Suriya in a dual role, will be re-released in theatres on February 14. The Gautham Vasudev Menon directorial was originally released in theatres in 2008. The re-release this Valentine's Day is part of the PVR multiplex chain's Lovers Day Week campaign. More than 300 shows are being planned.
This is the second re-release in theatres. The first time it was re-released, the movie raked in the moolah at the Telugu box office.
The re-release is being brought out this time by CLN Media Productions. The presenter has highlighted Suriya's extraordinary performance in the movie, adding that Harris Jayaraj's music is timeless. The early shows on February 13 and the shows on the 14th are getting filled fast. Shows will make a debut on the 12th.
The Telugu version of the feel-good movie will be released in Karnataka and overseas, as well as in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
Co-starring Simran, Sameera Reddy, Ramya, Deepa Narendran, Babloo Prithveeraj, Avishek Karthik and Gautham Menon, the film's cinematography is by Rathnavelu.
