The Pahalgam terror killings have shaken the country. At a time when Indians are saddened by the dastardly attack, Vijay Deverakonda made it a point to say that Kashmir and its people belong to India.
Addressing the crowd at the pre-release event of Suriya's Retro, the Arjun Reddy actor said, "Kashmir is ours, and the people of Kashmir are our people. I shot for the film 'Kushi' in Kashmir. I have many beautiful memories there. The people in Kashmir are very kind. My deepest condolences to all the victims."
The Family Star actor made an interesting observation in his speech. He touched upon the importance of education. He predicted that the poor economic conditions in Pakistan will make Pakistanis question their own government some day.
VD also plans to do something for the education of the underprivileged. In this, he is taking a leaf out of Suriya's Agaram Foundation.
