Vijay Deverakonda, condemning the Pahalgam terror attack, today wrote that he shot for a film (Kushi) there two years ago. The Arjun Reddy actor mentioned a bit about the hospitality of the local population.

"I celebrated my birthday 2 years ago in Pahalgam, amidst shooting a film, amidst laughter, amidst my local Kashmiri friends who took the greatest care of us," the Family Star actor wrote on social media.

He described the latest terror attack as "heartbreaking and infuriating". Coming out strongly against the terrorists, Vijay added, "Calling yourself a Force and shooting tourists is the most shameful, embarrassing and cowardly act of dumb terrorism hiding behind guns. We stand with the victims and their families. We stand with Kashmir. And I hope these cowards are cleaned out. Swiftly." The actor ended his message, saying, "India will never bow to terror".

Kingdom is Vijay's upcoming release. The period action drama, directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri, will head to theatres on May 30th.
