It is known that the 400 acres of land in the Kancha Gachibowli village in the IT corridor of Hyderabad has been defended by activists against the razing of its greenery. In this regard, former actress Renu Desai has made an appeal to the Telangana government.

In a video statement, she pleaded with CM Revanth Reddy to spare the place. "Sir, as a mother, I am pleading with you. I am already 44 years old—tomorrow or someday, I will be gone. But our children, the future of all our children, is what truly matters. We need oxygen. We need water. Of course, development is 100% essential—there is no doubt about that. We need IT parks, high-rise buildings, and all forms of progress. But if there is even a 1% possibility, please leave these 400 acres untouched. As a citizen of this state, I humbly request you—please spare this land. There are many vacant spaces that can be developed. Please consider utilizing those. I may not be in a position to advise you, as I am just a small individual before you. You are an experienced leader," the actress, who divorced Power Star Pawan Kalyan more than ten years ago, stated.

"Today, as a mother, I beg you—please think this through once again. I am not against development. It is because of urban progress that we are all here today. But please spare these 400 acres. Oxygen, trees, water, and biodiversity are all crucial," Renu Desai, who acted in Badri and Johnny, said.
