Emotional viewer abuses, attacks 'Love Reddy' actor

It is uncommon for audience members to be so involved in a film that actors cease to look like actors. The traits of their characters are assumed to be real. One such instance has happened in the case of the recent Telugu movie, 'Love Reddy'.

The incident in question took place at GPR Mall in Nizampet, Hyderabad, on Thursday. Here are the details.

A female audience member attacked an actor from 'Love Reddy'. After watching the climax, the emotional viewer, believing that the actor NT Ramaswamy, who played a father character in the movie, had actually separated the loving couple, angrily abused and attacked him.

The film's hero, Anjan Ramachandra, heroine Sravani, director Smaran Reddy, and other team members intervened and tried to reason with the woman. They explained that Ramaswamy had only acted as the father and was not a bad person in real life. They then sent her away.

'Love Reddy' was released in theatres on October 18. Since then, it has been supported by Rebel Star Prabhas, actor Kiran Abbavaram and a few other celebs. Prabhas urged the audience to watch the movie, while Kiran arranged four free shows for audiences.
