Speaking at a presser today, the makers of 'Lucky Baskhar' thanked the audience for flocking to theatres to watch their Diwali release. On Day 1, the con-man thriller grossed nearly thirteen crores. On Day 2, the film is trending at No. 1 on Book My Show with a massive 200K bookings in the last 24 hours.

Producer S Naga Vamsi said, "Nobody has been able to point a finger at any aspect in the film. Such has been the unanimous response. This movie is in for a long haul. The pace is picking.

Director Venky Atluri talked about the response from both Telugu and non-Telugu audiences, both domestically and overseas. He spoke about the fictional character of Baskhar and the thought behind conceiving it.

On the release date, the audiences were distributed among three new releases. The producer said that there was no scope for any controversy. Venky Atluri reminded everyone that 'Sita Ramam', 'Bimbisara' and 'Karthikeya 2' became blockbusters in 2022 in the same month. "Don't decide the fate of a film based on just one day's collections. The opening-day collections garnered by 'Lucky Baskhar' are more than what 'Sita Ramam' minted on Day 1. As far as I am concerned, nobody has been able to point out a single flaw in the film and this in itself is a big achievement," Naga Vamsi said.

The reception enjoyed by 'Lucky Baskhar' is on a par with Nani's 'Jersey', Naga Vamsi said.

The media personnel present on the occasion congratulated the makers of 'Lucky Baskhar' for delivering a product worthy of appreciation.
