Hindi movie 'Yodha' was released in theatres today. Helmed by Sagar Ambre and Pushkar Ojha, the thriller stars Sidharth Malhotra, Raashii Khanna, Disha Patani, Ronit Roy and Tanuj Virwani in lead roles. Amazon MGM Studios, Dharma Productions and Mentor Disciple Entertainment have produced it.
The actioner is grabbing extreme reviews. From outright positive ones to reviews that say the film is trashy, the range covers everything. "In 'Yodha', passenger planes are mere playthings in the hands of commandos and terrorists. They can access the cargo hold from the cabin at will, which, as anybody who knows about planes will tell you, is simply not possible," wrote NDTV in its scathing review.
"Not that this is its biggest flaw but Yodha is in such a hurry to get to its crash-landing finale crammed with some decent stunt-work, that it glosses over everything else," opined Hindustan Times in its review.
"It’s a true blue mass entertainer peppered with moments (and some predictable twists) that will make you clap and whistle. And at 133 minutes, it’s a quick-paced narrative that only drops pace post-interval but manages to get going again," said News18 in its positive review.
If you are a fan of action thrillers, give it a try.
