If 'Yatra 2' and RGV's 'Vyooham' have been made as pro-Jagan movies, 'Pratinidhi 2' and 'Raajadhani Files' have been made against him. The trailer for 'Raajadhani Files' was released today.
Starring newcomers Akilan and Veena in key roles, the film tells the story of the agitation of the farmers of Amaravathi against the Andhra Pradesh capital city issue. Featuring yesteryear hero Vinodh Kumar as a leader of a people's movement, the film also has Vani Viswanath in a positive role. A character resembling Jagan Mohan Reddy's political policy is ostensibly a negative one in the film. Some of the scenes are a vivid, exaggerated recreation of the scenes in the AP Assembly. The short stretch where Kodali Nani's lookalike abuses a character is a case in point.
Produced by Kantamanenie Ravishankar, the politico-social drama has been directed by Bhanu. Mani Sharma and lyric writer Suddala Ashok Teja are the only prominent names associated with the project.
Going by the trailer, this is a low-effort movie with poor production values.
