Dream Catcher is the title of an upcoming movie led by Prashanth Krishna, Aneesha Dama, Srinivas Ramireddy, and Aishwarrya Holakkal. Helmed and produced by Sandeep Kakula, this January 3rd release is a new-age psychological thriller.
Cinematographer Praneeth Gautham Nanda, speaking at the film's pre-release event today, thanked the director-producer for the opportunity. Siddharth Kakula, who composed the music for the Trailer, said that a rap song has been made to suit the film's sensibilities.
Actor Nagaraju will be seen as Nikhil in the movie. Actor Srinivas Ramireddy said that the plot involves a shocking incident that happens to one of the protagonists. The incident leaves him conflicted and how he overcomes the consequences is what the story is essentially about. Attention to detail is the film's forte, he added. Actress Achyasa Sinha stated that every single performance is exceptional.
Hero Prashanth Krishna said that Sandeep has wrapped up the movie with great passion and meticulousness. He appreciated the collaborative effort the director brought about. "After watching the trailer, I have received comments saying I resemble Adivi Sesh and Rana Daggubati. They are both incredible actors and self-made stars. I am happy to be compared to such talented and passionate actors," Krishna added.
Director Sandeep Kakula has taken inspiration from classics like Inception. Dream Catcher is a Telugu movie that attempts to be a high-concept one, he added. Shot entirely in Hyderabad, its plotting is first-of-its-kind in Telugu, he added. With complete faith in the subject, they bypassed a direct OTT release and are bringing Dream Catcher before the audience in theatres.
